Duato is the artistic director of the Compania Nacional de Danza de Espana, based in Madrid. Under Duato's direction since 1990, the company has evolved into a dynamic force of modern dance bringing worldwide acclaim and attention to Spain's national dance company. On the way to the studio location for this shoot, I said to Nacho, "So, I have this skull I would like to use in the image". He replied, "Good. I like skulls".
